There are loads of great people out there looking to help us raise as much money as possible to continue supporting disadvantaged children in the local area and this page is dedicated to those people who have decided to give the funds they have raised to the MPCSF.
A big thankyou to everyone who has contributed and helped to keep us going!

Last year saw Rick and Jackie Hesketh complete a 25KM hike of the Peak District's Eastern Gritstone Edges and raised £277.50 for the Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation. Now as a follow up, they have made a further donation of £70 from the sales of calendar featuring photos of their journey.
Rick and Jackie started at High Neb (460 metres) and their route followed Stanage Edge, Higgar Tor, Burbage Rocks , Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge and finished with the descent at Baslow Edge. Despite he original attempt being called off due to bad weather, they persevered and completed the route raising the money for the Foundation.
The Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation would like to say a big thanks again to Rick and Jackie for their kind donations.
If you want to raise money for the Foundation, then please get in touch via our contact page and we can let you know the details.

Rick and Jackie Hesketh are undertaking a day-hike to raise funds for the Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation.
The hike will take Rick and Jackie behind enemy 'blue lines' and deep into Sheffield Steeldogs country (and we will drop gloves if necessary...)
It's a 25Km high-level traverse of the Peak District's Eastern Gritstone Edges. Starting at High Neb (460 metres) the route follows Stanage Edge, Higgar Tor, Burbage Rocks , Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge and finishes with the descent at Baslow Edge (hopefully some 7 or 8 hours later!)
We're hockey people right, so what did you expect - a few laps of Dunham Massey??
